OMG May Achieved

Hi Everyone and Welcome to My Blog,

OMG 2018 Blog logo may

I’ve achieved my goal for May.  It was to finish my Regatta Quilt.  Drum roll please.

I joined Roseanne’s Regatta QAL.  It was a no pressure QAL in which there were no time limits so I didn’t feel like I had to rush to catch up or even keep up.  Many have already finished theirs and I am as always running behind.  It seemed like it was an easy pattern from Block M Quilts so I joined in the party.  You can see my piecing progress here and my quilting progress here.  Roseanne mentioned she will have a final blog to show everyone’s quilt coming up.  I can’t wait to see them all.

The linky parties I usually participate in can be found by clicking this link.  Please visit them and see what others are up to.  There are many bloggers out there who share their tips, projects, and tutorials to inspire us.

That’s all for now.  Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hi Cheri! Yippee skippy! I love seeing the subject of a goal achieved, and then knowing that it’s the Regatta all wrapped up and finished makes it even better. Woot woot! Aren’t you thrilled with how it came out?!! I was just talking to my friend Carol about her Regatta – it hasn’t been quilted yet but so what?! There’s still nice – no pressure. Yay you for this great finish. Happy Memorial Day! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. No mere drum roll here…I’ve got an entire band! I’ve loved watching this quilt come together. The result is wonderful! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.

    1. Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for bring out the band. I had a good time with this quilt. I’m glad it tried that braided quilting on it. It made all the difference.

  4. That’s a wonderful Regatta quilt! Mine is a long way from finished … barely started, in fact, but it is on the list, so I’ll finish it this summer. You chose such terrific colors for this one.

    1. Hi Susan,
I know you will get to your quilt. Sometimes life gets in the way and you can’t quilt as often as we like. I know your plate is probably full with school. I can’t wait to see yours when you work on it.
