Hi Everyone,
I’ve put aside my stained glass quilt for a while so I may work on my OMG for this month. It is coming together nicely after I fixed my mistake of sewing a four strip unit instead of a three unit. I guess I didn’t pay enough attention to the pattern. Oops and oh well. I’ll do better next time.
I’ve laid out the strips to give me an idea of the overall finish and this is what it’s looking like. I will be working of putting the strips together this weekend and hopefully my goal will be met.
By the way, I’ve been invited to participate in the 2018 New Quilt Blogger Blog Hop. I am very excited to be a part of this group. I have been learning many things so keep a look out for changes to come on my blog. I will be implementing suggestions provided by my peers. Some of the items suggested are beyond my technical level which I will have to research a bit because I am unfamiliar with some of the concepts. It has been a great experience so far and I look forward to a better blog at the end.
The linky parties I usually participate in can be found by clicking this link. Please visit them and see what others are up to. There are many bloggers out there who share their tips, projects, and tutorials to inspire us.
That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by.
Cherie

Hi Jan, It seems I am bringing up the rear on this QAL. I’m glad there wasn’t a time limit.

Oh, no, I’m much farther behind than you are! I only have six strips sewn together. =)

Hi Cherie,
Oh shoot – I just shared an update myself today. Oh well, I’ll do one last one and maybe you’ll have yours quilted by then. It sure is turning out great! Aren’t you just so happy with how it is coming together?! ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi Roseanne,
Yes, I am pleased with the results so far. I have a quilting thought already. I learned a braided walking foot design on Jacquie Gering’s craftsy class that I think I’ll try.

Hi Susan,
Thanks, I nearly got the top all together now. I was a little afraid of cutting off the edges, lest I make a wrong cut and ruin everything.
