June’s OMG Done

OMG 2018 blog logo June

Hi Everyone and Welcome to My Blog,

Earlier this month I linked up my goal for June.  It was to finish my disappearing hour-glass quilt top.  You can see the post here.

I’m glad to announce that I’ve met my goal for June.  It ended up bigger than I expected, but I am enjoying all the cheery colors in it.  It was a bit windy out so I had a hard time taking the picture.

That’s all for now.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. It’s so beautiful, Cherie! Great job balancing all the different print values across the quilt top. I really like how the bolder prints pop forward and the softer prints are more like shadows or echoes. Kind of gives it a 3D effect.

    1. Hi Rebecca,
I was a bit concerned about those polka dot blocks having enough contrast. But I just went for it. I see the 3D now. I didn’t even notice. Thanks, Cherie

    1. Hi Roseanne, Now the dilemma is how to quilt it. It’s so big, I’m thinking to try out some stippling. Hopefully I’ll have the hang of it by the time it’s done. Thanks, Cherie
