January BOM Done

Hi Everyone,

I stayed in yesterday snuggled up under my stack n flip quilt while sewing on binding.  I binged watched a bit of recorded tv.  It was very nice.  I hope everyone was able to stay safe as well.  However today I have to go back to work to support my quilt habit.  I’m told the highs this weekend will be back at 70 degrees.  That is when sick sneaks up.  I’m hoping it will stay away from my house.

I also took a few minutes to complete my January Pinwheel Roundabout block.  I’m pleased with the results.  The fabrics are playing well together.  This is my first BOM project and I just want to make more blocks.  I’ll just have to be patient until the next block comes out.

Block 1 cut

I picked up the template set when I got the fabric last Friday.  It’s nice to have them all measured out for me and all I need to do it cut.  I think I need one of those rotating mats to cut around all sides easier.

I’ve got my eye out for some smaller projects to try.  The purpose being that I would have a more variety of things to write about.  One of my blogging goals this year is to write more posts per week.

The linky parties I usually participate in can be found by clicking this link.  Please visit them and see what others are up to.  There are many bloggers out there who share their tips, projects, and tutorials to help us through ours.

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe.  That’s all I have for now.  Thanks for stopping by.
