Pinwheel Roundabout Fabric

Hi Everyone,

I picked up my fabric choices Friday and I am pleased.  It seems I am going back to my preference with warmer colors.  I think these will make a nice quilt.  I am looking forward to starting it.

Fabric Choices

The colors are pretty close the one of Marti’s except for the solid fussy cut blocks and the triangles around the edges.  I’m hoping that will make it somewhat different.  However,  the good news is that the block pattern will be easier to read since the colors are basically the same.  Maybe I won’t make as many mistakes.

Come back soon and I will post the first block once I’m done with it.  It is called Cornwall Castle.  My club meeting is February 7th and I can’t wait to see what the other members have chosen.

The linky parties I usually participate in can be found by clicking this link.  Please visit them and see what others are up to.  There are many bloggers out there who share their tips, projects, and tutorials to help us through ours.

That’s all for now.  Thanks for stopping by,

  1. I think I will like it better without the fussy cutting, clever as that is. I like things more restful and that seems busy. Your colors are really pretty ones – of course, I LIKE those colors anyway. LOL
