I am notorious for sticking to one project at a time, but I just need to step away from my For the Love of Geese quilt for a little while. It will not last long because somewhere inside of me I’m compulsive about completing my projects and I tend to get a guilty feeling if I don’t finish. I will try to work on this issue I have this year because there are so many things I want to try. I’m thinking a BOM might help me to get over it. Since I would have to stop and wait on the next block to be continue. There is a nice one starting this month at my local quilt shop. I may have to stop in today and take a look at it. You guy’s will be the first to know if it tickles my fancy.
I have another project that I can do a little quilting on just to change things up a bit. Do you recall this Stack n Quilt quilt from a couple of months back? I’ve got it sandwiched and have done some stitching in the ditch along the lines. I’m thinking about trying out some ruler work within the strips. My thought is trying out my rulers after I practice a bit. I have a circle ruler that might look nice on my strips. I can’t decide what color to use on these strips. I’m leaning to a dove grey. It will stand out on some and blend on other strips.
My 2018 Q1 FAL goal is to quilt both of them.
The linky parties I usually participate in can be found by clicking this link. Please visit them and see what others are up to. There are many bloggers out there who share their tips, projects, and tutorials to help us through ours.
Thanks for stopping by.
